Generative Agents for Chat Augmentation

Why?

We wanted to make it easier for people to say the first word. For many international students, joining a new group means more than just showing up. It means navigating silence, uncertainty, and the fear of saying the wrong thing. Icebreakers was our way of softening that moment. We designed two quiet companions: one to guide the group gently forward with inclusive prompts, and another to sit beside each person, offering private support with phrasing, translation, and confidence. The agents are not there to speak for you. They are there to make it feel a little safer to speak for yourself.
